This Baby Bump Video is a little different...

I wanted to do a little video on my leg workout routine. I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant. To be honest I did go down in weights more and more as I progressed into the pregnancy. I like to keep it safe and feel comfortable so these workouts are meant to maintain what I have, I’m not doing them to build muscle. I’ll leave the goal setting for after the baby arrives.


I was asked about my pregnancy workout routine so here it is, btw ill have my back and arms up shortly as well this is only my current leg routine. ( I say current bc you should be changing it up, less weight more reps or less reps more weight)

WHATS NEW WITH THE BABY

Baby is getting pretty big and it seems she’s running out of space. I also feel a lot of pressure and lately she has been hitting my hip bones. I cant say for sure that’s a sign of her coming but it sure is uncomfortable.

HOW I FEEL

I feel great besides the whole can’t move very well and I’m out of breath just by taking a shower, applying lotion or even dressing myself.
I’m getting a lot of creamy discharge which scares me at times because it comes out in bursts and I’m like “OMG did my water just break” lol…

WHAT’S NEW WITH THE BABY
3 3/4 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long

So I noticed she dropped and I guess others are noticing as well. Not sure if this is an early indication of she’s right around the corner and ready to pop. My research lead me to no conclusion. Some women said yes some said no.


WHAT’S NEW WITH ME:
Okay so things are getting a bit tougher now. Moving is getting harder. Forget twisting in bed, were I lay is where I remain all night. She is moving constantly and now its become really hard stabs to my rib cage or right side to the point where I may squirm which can be embarrassing in public.
Last week I think for the first time I had gas that was stuck and it was on my right side bottom abdomen. This pain was excruciating. I couldn’t stand straight or walk because I would feel a consistent sharp pain. It lasted for 2 day’s. I started to worry but I had no other symptoms they said to watch out for.

WHATS NEW WITH ME:

I have finally entered my 30 week mark. I’ve been excited about that since I feel it makes it more real and the time is nearing for me to see this beautiful little girl.

I’m excited but also tired. Simple tasks I did so effortlessly before are getting difficult… Getting up, lifting things, tying my shoes, even putting my pants on is a chore lol…

Another thing I’ve noticed I get dizzy a couple times a day. They say its normal but I really don’t like it so I took it into my hands to try and eat a whole lot of different things so that I make sure my body is lacking anything it needs. Protein, Dairy (for the calcium) fruits and veggies, Beans and sugar (yes believe it or not too low on sugar actually makes me weak but of course don’t over do it)

WHATS NEW WITH ME:

I missed the last 2 Baby Bump video’s because we were moving and once we moved things where misplaced and it was a bit hectic but everything is calming down now and things are going back to normal.
A couple more aches and pains. Sitting down or getting up takes a bit more effort and I have to do it slower. If I do it too fast it hurts.
Also Sleeping was becoming unbearable and I would wake up so frustrated I wanted to cry but all is fixed now because we bought a new bed and the mattress is firm but its foam so it molds and the tummy just feels so good now. I fall asleep and stay asleep.
I’ve noticed when getting out of bed you need to give yourself and your tummy time to adjust. My belly always looks so funny when I get up from bed. She is sitting in such a odd position so I just let her adjust and once the belly looks normal again I go ahead and stand.

WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE BABY:
She now weighs two full pounds, She can hear fully and now reacts to light, noise and pain. They also say she can cry now. 

WHATS HAPPENING WITH YOU:
This is the last week of the 2nd trimester so next week I'll be entering my 7 months and 3rd trimester. 
I'm feeling the extra weight now, my lower back is starting to bother me and sleeping is much more difficult. I wake up sore and its hard to move. I almost always wake up with back pain which subsides as I get moving. 
My rib cage hurts and feels bruised and so do my sides.
They say that stretchmarks start around this time so be extra careful about applying your coco butter as well as not over eating in one sitting. I find it to be really uncomfortable if I eat too much in one sitting.

Week 24:
Big changes this last week.
1. Sleeping has become much harder, I find sleeping with a body pillow that supports the belly is very helpful. 
2. My stomach seems to be growing weekly. REALLY.

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE BABY:
The baby can hear loud noises now so it's a great time to start playing comfort music for the baby. They say that if you play a certain song to them when they come out of the womb they remember that song which brings them comfort. 
Also by now, the face is almost fully formed, complete with eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair.
She weighs 1.5 pounds and is almost a foot long.

I just started my Week 23 and I officially entered 6 months! 
I just cant believe how fast time has passed. It feels like just yesterday that I was wondering when my belly would just start growing. Now I'm 3 short months away from seeing our little girl.

WHY I CHOOSE TO HAVE A HOME BIRTH:

1. I believe birth to be natural thing, its not a disease or an illness therefore I believe medical intervention is unnecessary unless there are complications and by complications I mean real complications not the make belief ones the doctors come up with.

HOW I FEEL:

I’m feeling Heavy and it’s a bit harder to move around. If I lay down and get up I find myself having to just sit there for a while and let my body slowly adapt to the change.
Bending down and sitting are sometimes uncomfortable I have to make sure if I’m sitting I’m at an angel rather then straight up.

This is because she sits really low even though she looks like she is sitting high. She kicks me really low. There are some workouts I can do even though they are supposed to be pregnancy safe like lunges because of how low she sits.  That’s why it’s important to listen to your body.

Misleading Articles

I read a couple articles online that really angered me because of misleading information.
Some articles said stay away from juicing fresh fruits and veggies because it could have bacteria but shelf juice that's been possessed, chemically altered even artificially colored it okay.
THAT'S A BIG RED FLAG & YOU SHOULD STOP READING THAT ARTICLE. 

KEEP IN MIND JUST BECAUSE ITS FDA APPROVED DOES NOT MEAN ITS GOOD OR SAFE FOR YOU!
